The mission of Higher Ground Academy is to prepare students to become successful, ethical, and responsible citizens who are ready for all the challenges of the twenty-first century. To that end, students graduating from the Academy will be college ready, stewards of the environment, and ethical citizens who value hard work, honesty, integrity, equity, and diversity.

Environmental
Education
Care for the environment is a core value of the Higher Ground Academy and it's Authorizer, the Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center.
Our Minnesota standards-based curriculum has an emphasis on environmental education with the goal of developing environmentally literate citizens.
The mission of Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center, is to "instill a connection and commitment to the environment in people of all communities through experiential learning".
