Who drives your scholar
Higher Ground Academy partners with five vetted providers serving both campuses — 1381 Marshall Avenue (Elementary & Junior High) and 1471 Brewster Street (Secondary). Your scholar’s assigned provider, vehicle number, and stop are listed in the JMC Parent Portal.

Finding your route
JMC Parent Portal
Sign in with your existing JMC account to see your scholar’s route, vehicle number, stop location, and pickup and drop-off times. Assignments refresh nightly, so check again the week before school starts.
EZ-Arrival app
Free on iOS and Android. Track your bus or van live, see the estimated arrival at your stop, and get push alerts when a route runs late. Setup instructions are sent to every family before the first day.

Open House
Meet the drivers, confirm your stop, and get hands-on help with the app.
Anytime
Route changes are emailed within 24–48 hours.
Riding safely
- Stay seated whenever the vehicle is moving.
- Keep hands, arms, and belongings inside.
- Follow the driver’s instructions the first time.
- Board and exit calmly, one at a time.
- Never distract the driver while driving.
- Water bottles only — no food or open drinks.
Absences & schedule changes
Call the school office if your scholar will be absent, picked up early, or going home a different way. A note to the office does not automatically reach transportation — call 651-324-6954 as well for anything that affects the bus or van.
Accommodations: if your scholar needs medical, mobility, or behavioural support on the route, contact the transportation office so we can plan ahead with the provider.
